Where does OEM Worktops Source its products?

OEM Worktops was contracted to liquidate the inventory that was on-hand at one of Snap-On’s manufacturing partners.
These worktops were discontinued when Snap-On brought their new worktop design and manufacturing in-house.
Our inventory is OEM, New, Unblemished product, not scratch and dent, refurbished or returned product.

Are prices on OEMWorktops.com Negotiable?

Our goal is to provide a very competitive price on all inventory, priced to sell so that we can move the inventory in a timely manner, to minimize ongoing storage fee’s. We don’t currently negotiate pricing with individual customers, However, we do offer discounts to Mobile Tool Dealers willing to purchase bulk quantities. If you are a mobile tool dealer wishing to purchase bulk quantities please contact us directly – mobiledealer@oemworktops.com 

Do I need to create an account on OEMWorktops.com?
You do not need to register to browse the site. However, in order to purchase from us, you must create an account. This will allow you to access your order, and pay for your worktop.
How do I create an account on OEMWorktops.com?

Can I buy from OEMWorktops if am located in Canada or Mexico?

Yes, anybody can purchase from OEM Worktops as long as you ship to a US-based business address (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). If you plan to export items, you are responsible for ensuring they are eligible for export and that you comply with all applicable requirements, including any customs or duty fees.

In limited circumstances we can assist with shipment of items outside the United States. To be considered please contact us at sales@OEMWorktops.com before you purchase.

Is a resale certificate required?

OEM Worktops requests resale certificates from all Mobile Tool Dealer customers; additionally, end-user customers shipping to Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin are required to pay tax or provide a resale certificate prior to placing an order.

Please email all resale certificates to sales@OEMWorktops.com and allow 1 business day for us to verify your direct Mobile Tool Dealer account.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my purchases?

You are responsible for any applicable sales taxes. OEM Worktops is required to collect sales tax in certain states, unless we have a copy of your reseller certificate in states where we are not required to collect sales tax, however, you may still be responsible to that state for sales tax on your online purchases. For more information about your obligations, please visit your state’s taxing authority’s website or for more state-by-state information see here. OEM Worktops orders shipped to Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin include applicable sales taxes. If we do not have your resale certificate on file, we will pre-authorize a hold on sales tax owed and charge the tax within 3 days after your order is placed. To ensure that you are not charged for sales tax for shipments to these jurisdictions, please email your resale certificate to sales@OEMWorktops.com before placing your order or within 72 hours after placing it.

What payment methods does OEMWorktops accept?

We accept most major credit cards, PayPal, and PayPal Credit (formerly. PayPal Credit provides you the flexibility to pay for purchases over time.

To pay with PayPal Credit, select the PayPal option at checkout and choose PayPal Credit as your preferred method of payment. If you have never checked out with PayPal credit, you will have to go through a quick approval process.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Do you offer free shipping?

Free shipping is a great marketing tool offered by large companies.  No reseller can offer true ‘free’ shipping, they have to include it in the cost of their product. OEM Worktops has chosen to offer the absolute lowest price possible.  

Due to the large size and weight of work surfaces, plus the additional weight and bulk of protective crating, worktop freight  averages over $250 per skid.

To help offset the expensive freight, OEM Worktops is offering a $50.00 freight allowance. You will be charged a flat-rate  shipping fee of $200 per skid when shipped to a business address within the contiguous United States. Consider asking around your shop to see if other technicians are interested, pooling your purchases and shipping multiple worktops to one location will drastically reduce your freight charges.

Orders shipped to residences or requesting lift-gate service will be charged for these additional fees directly.

How are my orders shipped?

Orders are shipped via a third-party freight carrier. Once your order is packaged / palletized for shipping, the shipping carrier will contact you to schedule delivery, and may require a signature upon delivery. All orders include insurance for the retail cost of the worktops.

Can I arrange my own shipping?

No. We take care of all shipping arrangements, so that we can ship your order seamlessly and cost-effectively.

When will my order ship?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days following order confirmation and payment. Worktops that have not yet been crated may take an additional 2-3 days depending on warehouse congestion. Shipments generally arrive within 5-10 business days after departing warehouse.

How can I check on the status of my order?

We will include tracking links in shipping confirmation emails.

Please note, it may take up to 48 hours after the order has shipped to be fully trackable.

What if there is an issue with my order upon delivery? Do I refuse it?

If there is an issue with your delivery, please contact us within 24 hours and do not refuse the order, or else refusal charges may be applied. No refunds will be issued for orders refused at delivery or for failure to schedule delivery with our third-party freight carrier. Please note any issues on the Bill of Lading (BOL) and take photos to ensure quick and timely communication and processing.

REFUNDS & DISPUTES

What if I have an issue with the Worktop I receive?

We stand behind the Worktops we’re liquidating, both in terms of condition and composition. However, we cannot guarantee proper fit if you have not purchased the correct size for your toolbox. If there is an issue with the Worktop you receive, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We will get back to you within 1-2 days with next steps. We aim to resolve all disputes efficiently and fairly. Please view our claim policy

Can I return merchandise?
